Palak Paneer - Spinach and Indian Cheese Recipe

Ingredients3. Heat the oil in a wok or non-stick pan and add the
250 grams paneercumin seeds. Wait till it crackles and ensure that it does
2 bunches of palaknot burn. Add the chopped onions and green chillies
3 medium sized onions (finely chopped)and saute till the onions are golden brown. Add the
2 medium size tomatoes (finely chopped) OR tomatoginger garlic paste and saute for another minute. Add
puree as per conveniencethe turmeric powder, chilli powder and the chana
2 green chillies (slit into half)masala powder and saute for another 1-2 minutes.
1/2 tsp turmeric powderThen add the tomatoes/tomato puree and stir till the oil
1 tsp red chilli powderseparates.
1/2 ginger paste4. Add the palak paste to this mixture along with 1 cup
1/2 garlic pastewater.(Tip: You can use the water used for cooking
1 tsp cumin seedsthe spinach)
1 tsp garam masala5. Add the paneer, garam masala, sugar and salt and
1/2 tsp chana masalacook till you start to see the gravy bubbling. If the
1 tsp sugargravy seems a bit dry, you can add some more
3 tbsp oilwater.
Salt to taste6.
